Attend an Event

Student attendance at KCNA events:

KCNA is committed to introducing local nursing students in King County to the benefits of membership in professional nursing associations. One way we do this is by encouraging student engagement in our continuing education programs.

Whenever possible, KCNA invites local nursing students to participate in our continuing education programs and other events.  And, during select events, we offer volunteer opportunities for nursing students.  We purposefully keep our fees low or free for nursing students to accommodate the student budget.

By attending a KCNA educational program, students not only gain skills, but they have the opportunity to meet and speak with RNs who are currently practicing in a variety of professional specialties.
