KCNA & Nursing Students
King County Nurses Association offers educational events throughout the year for nurses, health care professionals, and the public. ATTEND AN EVENT:
Nursing Students are welcome to attend any event at a reduced rate and there are often several spaces reserved for free for students. If you are interested in attending an event, contact KCNA at 206-545-0603 to see if there are any free admissions available. Please check out the KCNA events page for more information, click here.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR NURSING STUDENTS:
*Nursing Students are encouraged to participate in the Neighborhood Health Special Interest Group. The group meets every other month and is working on the issue of homelessness in King County.
*Volunteer to help at the KCNA Annual Meeting, May 6, 2010, an evening event held at the Shilshole Bay Beach Club. Volunteers are needed to help with set up and the scholarship auction. It's a fun evening and a great way to mingle with registered nurses.
