The Shining Star Awards
KCNA awards 'Star Awards' to nurses who go beyond their everyday jobs
to serve patients or their local communities. The deadline has passed for 2008. Next Deadline April 1,
2009.
Scholarships for Nurses
KCNA Scholarship Programsprovide financial assistance to qualified students who are preparing
for a career as a Registered Nurse and to RNs returning for an advanced
degree in nursing or a related field. The deadline has passed for 2008. Next Deadline March 1, 2009.
Community Project Awards
KCNA Mini-Grants are designed to
encourage KCNA members to participate actively in community-based
projects that can result in a positive change to a current health
issue. Quarterly deadlines: January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1.
