Shining Star Awards

KCNA presents Nurse Awards annually in May to members. The deadline for 2010 has passed and the winners will be honored May 6 at the Annual Meeting/Spring Banquet.

Scholarships for Nurses
KCNA Scholarship Programs provide financial assistance to qualified students who are preparing for a career as a Registered Nurse and to RNs returning for an advanced degree in nursing or a related field. The next deadline is March 1, 2011. Applications available January 2011.

Community Project Awards
KCNA Mini-Grants are designed to encourage KCNA members to participate actively in community-based projects that can result in a positive change to a current health issue. Quarterly deadlines: January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1. Download the Application: Mini Grant Application

Scholarship Fund Contributions

You can also help KCNA provide nurse scholarships by contributing to the KCNA Scholarship Fund. Your tax-deductible donation can be made in cash, or through raffle or silent auction items. Please contact KCNA for more information about how you can be involved in helping the future of nursing.
